Tee off 74

Originally named Alan Rickman's Tee-off 74 the games designers had to change the name to just Tee-off after Alan Rickman pulled out of the project.

In 1972 Ken Battersford opened his first and only video games arcade. Nestled in the green rolling hills of the midlands in the small market town of Draughton just off the A508, kens endeavor was at first viewed as witch craft and subsequently burnt down. Undeterred Ken opened another arcade 2 years later in 1974 but some miles down the road in Maidwell which is closer to the A508. This time ken was successful and his video game arcade was accepted and enjoyed for many a year.

Using ultra modern technology this blog archives many of the classic games that featured in kens arcade over the years and we hope that they will bring you as much enjoyment as they brought the youth of 1970s Britain.
